Theological seminaries, cooperation within the framework of the activities of choirs and diaconate, the exchange of groups of children and youths, scientific exchanges concerning religious buildings – these are some of the points of the agreement that the parish concluded on October 4th at the Church of Peace.

The cooperation for the years 2015-2018 has been declared by both the Lutheran Parish in Swidnica and the Lutheran Parish in Harmånger.

Pastor Sofia Aspling, along with the curator of the partnership parish from Śweden, Asa Löf, have signed a Polish-Swedish document together with Bishop Waldemar Pytel. The emphasis should be put on children, because they are the future of our church. Equally important is the diaconia mission work, which can manifest in the simplest of gestures, such as being kind to others. In these two areas in particular we need a partner to cooperate with.

“Alone we are weak, but together we can build something huge”, said the Pastor. The agreement is a continuation of the cooperation that began in 2011.
