An extremely current issue – the assimilation of new people in a foreign environment – has become a canvas for a drama called “Sami Swoi, Sami Obcy “(All Friends Here, All Alien) written by Mariola Mackiewicz from Świdnica. Not without reason, the title refers to the cult film by Sylwester Chęciński, under the title “Sami Swoi” (All Friends Here).
Both in the drama and the movie, the same themes appear: the search for another place to live, a sense of strangeness, taming the unknown.
