Representatives of the county of Vest-Agder, together with Frans-Arne Stylegar (an excellent archaeologist and specialist in dendrochronology) and Rev. Waldemar Pytel, met on the 9th of August in Warsaw to discuss the details of their cooperation. The county council of Vest-Agder is a Norwegian partner in the project titled “Reinstating the splendour of a Lutheran enclave”.

As part of the project we are going to cooporate on many levels, one of which will be the maintenance of the collections of books and manuscripts from Świdnica’s archives. The application for the financial backing of our bilateral cooperation was prepared by our parish and will soon be submited to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In November our Norwegian partners will come to Swidnica for a press conference that will open the project.
