This year a special highlight was the 15th edition of “Don Giovanni” by Mozart in a live concert version performed by Capella Cracoviensis, which took place at the Church of Peace.

Jan Tomasz Adamus, the director of the orchestra, conductor and at the same time artistic director of the festival, entertained the audience. The fact that for the first time some concerts were fully booked proves that the festival is gathering momentum, says Rev. Waldemar Pytel, the pastor of the Church of Peace who led the sacred cantatas. This cantatas embraces the festival in both its opening and closing ceremonies. The same theme appears in the Bach cantata as well as a sermon. During the week of music (25.07.-03.08.) music lovers were also able to taste various snacks from picnic baskets and enjoy the buffet in Baroccafe, which is situated on Peace Square.
