Librarians from 15 European countries specializing in theology have gathered to talk about the maintenance and preservation of valuable libraries for future generations. The meeting took place both in Wrocław and Świdnica. The 43rd General Assembly of European Theological Libraries – BETH (Bibliothèques Européennes Theologie) has been hosted in Poland for the second time and has been in progress for several days. At the Papal Faculty of Theology in Wroclaw, the professionals shared their experiences and discussed the cooperation involved in the projects. On the 7th of September the thirty participants visited the Church of Peace. During the visit the Rev. Waldemar Pytel and Berlin musicologist Dr Stephan Aderhold discussed our current rescue programme aimed at protecting the archives from our parsonage, which is being carried out with our Norwegian partners.
