“The Church of Peace in Świdnica has been renewed with unprecedented energy”, “The largest conservation project in the 350-year history of the church,” “Millions more will allow for further conservation works in the church and the restoration process of the cemetery” – this is what the media from Lower Silesia wrote after the press conference which took place on November 13th (in which our guests from the county of Vest-Agder participated).

During the conference we presented the effects of the current restoration and maintenance work of the project supported by funds from and cooperation with our Norwegian partners.

We also presented our further plans for renovations, which are possible thanks to the extension of the project until April 2017, as well as additional financial support – the project fund increased by 3 685 888.02 zł, of which 3 133 004.81 zł comes from Norwegian funds.

The total budget of the project, co-financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, is 17 747 233.02 zł (including 14 985 459.39 zł from Norwegian funds).
