Until 9th October at the outdoor gallery at the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, an exhibition with the photos of the Church of Peace will be on show.

The exhibition is associated with two programs designed for the cultural sector which are financed with Norwegian funds and the EEA funds.

The projects were summarized during a meeting in Warsaw on September 27 at a conference opened by Wanda Zwinogrodzka, the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, as well as Bård Folke Fredriksen, the Secretary of State for Norway’s Ministry of Culture.

As part of the program entitled “Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage “. The budget of 12.2 million euro funded 62 co-financed projects.

The renovation of the Church of Peace is part of the second big project under the title “Conservation and Revitalization of Cultural and Natural Heritage.” The budget of the project is 82 million euros (70.2 million euros from the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and 11.8 million from the Ministry of Culture).

The whole programme covers 24 projects, two educational and research projects as well as 22 investment projects including the establishment of Pan Tadeusz Museum, the Historic Centre “Zajezdnia” ( “Depot”) in Wrocław and many others.
