This is an exceptionally beautiful place, the most representative building in the rectory – says Ryszard Wojtowicz, the conservator of the very library that changes its look every day.

After extensive renovations, the library room has been furnished with bookcases designed by architect Maciej Małachowicz.

Soon the shelves will be packed with books of the Lower Silesian Evangelical Institute.

On top of that, pine furniture in the library is being decorated with a graining technique that imitates marble.

“I thought it would be interesting if the library could become more historical, in the spirit of the Baroque”, says the conservator.

The idea of marbling (graining), refers to the altar and the pulpit of the Church of Peace, which also have elements decorated in this way. This will bring added beauty and splendor to the library.
