One of the surprises uncovered during the recently completed renovation of the rectory was the re-used boards found in a bricked publishing house.

They are so beautifully painted that they may well have come from the school theatre that operated on Peace Square at the beginning of the eighteenth century.

Even the printed theatre programmes are in good shape according to Dr. Maciej Małachowicz, the author of the restoration project of the Church of Peace and its surroundings.

The school theatre program comes from the collection of the Museum of Old Trade in Swidnica.
