The cemetery surrounding the Church of Peace in Świdnica is one of the necropolises that will be discussed during the Polish-German Conservators’ Forum, which is dedicated to historical cemeteries.
The meeting, held on 28-29 April in Wschowa, will be an ideal opportunity for the Polish and German hosts of these sites to exchange experiences and discuss their conservation and importance for cultural heritage.
Our cemetery served the members of the parish for 250 years – from the moment our church was built until the end of the 19th century. Neglected for years, it is now being revitalized as part of the Norwegian project – says Bożena Pytel from the Church of Peace.
