As the rectory building undergoes its renovation, the painting found hanging from the Matroneum of the Church of Peace is being unraveled. The artwork, which dates back to the first half of the nineteenth century, was discovered during the renovation work that is being conducted to achieve a desired look.

“In our work we sometimes come across such surprises, which teach us to employ a flexible approach to previously made plans or arrangements. After adjusting our plans, we restored the panels above and below the windows among other things.”
