The Church of Peace has been awarded a top-3 position in the competition run by the National Geographic Traveler called 7 Nowych cudów Polski (The 7 New Wonders of Poland).
The readers eventually chose 7 out of the original list of 16 places submitted in the online competition.
Our Church of Peace stood at the podium in 3rd place, just after Pałac Potockich in Radzyń Podlaski (The Mansion of Potocki Family) and Żywe Muzeum Porcelany (Living Museum of Porcelain) from Ćmielów.
The Polish community appreciate the awe-inspiring but sometimes little known places in our country – said Martyna Wojciechowska, the editor in chief of Traveler.
The results of the contest will be published in the November’s edition of the magazine.
More than 63 thousand internet users voted in the competition. To all of those who voted for us, we would like to send a big message of thanks!
