The Christian Scheffler company from Siversdorf, one of the two best organ-building companies in Germany, have undertaken the task of revitalizing the church’s large organs.

The baroque wooden console is being renewed, as are the eighteenth and nineteenth-century pipes, together with the rest of its mechanisms. Thanks to this, the angels of the organ will once again play on their copper drums.

All renovation works are to be done by hand.

German specialists are using the highest quality leather, paper, wood, lead pipes as well as sheet metal and bone glue.

This instrument of 62 voices, which consists of 3.5 thousand pipes (fifes), was created in 1669 by Gottfried Klose from Brzeg. This is one of the largest preserved large organs in Lower Silesia.
