Waldemar Pytel, bishop and pastor of the Church of Peace, was one of the participants in the panel discussion “Open City/Otwarte Miasto”.
How can we facilitate engagement from local residents in dialogue about Świdnica? This question was the main subject of discussion at the meeting on the 9th of June 2015. The Otwarte Miasto event is part of the nationwide project run by Gazeta Wyborcza under the title “City Lab/Pracownie Miast”.
Local public officials, residents, opinion leaders, scientists and experts met to talk about solutions that can improve the quality of life in the city. The publication, which was published in Gazeta Wyborcza, also recalled the history of the Church of Peace and its impact on the identity of Świdnica.
