
For a period just short of three weeks, two Erasmus + programme participants from Estonia will take part in the construction and maintenance of the Church of Peace. They will assist with the current overhaul of the parsonage as well as in the renovation of the organ facade situated inside the church.
Johan Laidoner and Marko Pajumaa, students of the Vocational Education and Training Centre of Haapsalu, have studied the preservation of wood and stone – including courses on the maintenance of historic wooden buildings.
In Świdnica the students will have the opportunity to see conservationists’ work and learn from the experience. After the completion of the project at the end of April, they will be awarded with a certificate for their efforts, titled “Passport of the skills acquired during the trainee-ship”.
