All the restoration works on Peace Square are going according to schedule. The effects are visible already when you look at our magnificent baroque facade.

The lobby of the organ case awaits renovation, as do the pair of very elaborate galleries located aside each other (one of the which, the North gallery, includes a picture of the Church of Peace at its centre).

On top of that, 7 polychrome ceilings with ornamental decoration, the railing of the organ facade along with a picture of Martin Luther King, plus various elements from the 18th and latter part of the 17th century, are all awaiting renovation too.

To our surprise, the conservationists also discovered Baroque polychrome ceiling planks in the parsonage, which were hidden between the floor and the floor slabs. After the renovation these planks will be a boost to the importance and prestige of the building.
