The library of the Church of Peace in Świdnica has been enriched by an old print named “Freyerhaltene Religions = Ubung” (‘freedom of religion’ in English), which dates back to 1752. This year, on the 25th of September, the faithful celebrated the centenary of the parish.

The day was celebrated via a mass, with its schedule being put up for sale by an antique shop from Leipzig. This valuable document, which consists of six pages, was purchased with the financial support of the Rotary Club from Chemnitz. Currently, its text is being processed by Dr. Stephan Aderhold. In the future, this print will belong to the collection of the Lower Silesian Evangelical Institute, as part of the project named “Peace Church in Świdnica – a UNESCO listed site.
