On the 7th of May 2014, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bogdan Zdrojewski, and Rev. Waldemar Pytel, pastor of the Evangelical-Augsburg parish in Swidnica, signed an agreement to transfer 12 million zł from the “Maintenance and revitalization of cultural heritage” fund under the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the period through 2009-2014.

The Minister of Culture is responsible for the allocation of 320 million zł that only 18 entities from 277 applications in Poland have received. The maintenance of the Church of Peace will cover the giant organs along with the emporas and part of the churchyard’s cemetery. In the modernized parsonage the Lower Silesian Evangelical Institute, featuring priceless archives, will be opened.
